Murió el músico Joseph "Jo" Mersa, nieto de Bob Marley
La noticia la confirmó su representante. Por el momento se desconocen las causas de su deceso
Joseph "Jo" Mersa Marley, hijo del productor musical Stephen Marley y nieto de la leyenda del reggae Bob Marley, falleció a los 31 años. La noticia la confirmó uno de sus representantes a la revista Rolling Stone.
Si bien por el momento no se revelaron las causas de su muerte, trascendió que el artista jamaicano-estadounidense, fue encontrado inconsicente en un vehículo. Según el sitio TMZ, "Jo" habría muerto de un ataque de asma, aunque no se revelaron mayores detalles.
Tras conocerse la noticia el primer ministro de Jamaica, Andrew Holness, afirmó estar "profundamente entristecido" y ofreció sus condolencias a los padres de Marley.

Por su parte, la Ministra de Cultura, Género, Entretenimiento y Deporte de Jamaica, Olivia Grange, compartió un comunicado en su cuenta de Twitter, donde lamentó la pérdida. “Me entristece profundamente la noticia de que el artista Joseph Marley, hijo de la estrella del reggae, Stephen Marley y nieto de la superestrella del reggae, Bob Marley ha muerto”, expresó.
“Expreso mis más profundas condolencias a Stephen, la madre de Jo, Kerry, los Marley y otros miembros de la familia. Mis más sinceras condolencias a los amigos y asociados de Joseph ya la fraternidad de la música reggae ya los fans de todo el mundo”, añadió.
